What does system log show?

The meaning of system log is as below:

Output format

Operation date/time, Name of the TeraStation, terastation[***]:, System status

An output example

Jan 5 15:27:13 TS-TGL136 terastation[467]: Started kernelmon

Example of output timings

  • When the RAID configuration is changed.
  • When RAID scanning starts or completes.
  • When the normal operation temperature is exceeded.
  • When UPS enters or recovers from a line failure
