How can I set a wireless connection through Windows XP?

See below for how to set a wireless connection through Windows XP SP2 wireless LAN.

1. Disable the firewall function of the security software.
2. If you use a computer with the internal wireless LAN, enable the wireless LAN.
   Click here to see how to enable it.
3. Right-click on the icon of the system tray, then choose [View Available Wireless Networks].
   When the icon is not displayed in the system tray, you can choose [View Available Wireless Networks] by right-clicking [Wireless Network Connection] from "Network Connections" in "Control Panel".
4. "Wireless Network Connection" will get started and the wireless main unit is displayed.

1. If "Unsecured wireless network" is displayed, click [Continue Anyway].
2. When the connection has been set up, "Connected" will be displayed.
   When "Limited or no connectivity" is displayed instead of "Connected",
   The client does not get the IP address from the DHCP server.
   
   Please contact the network administrator to ask if the client gets the IP address from the DHCP server.

The security (the encryption key) has been set on the wireless main unit.

1. Choose the wireless main unit from the "Choose a wireless network" screen, then click [Connect].
2. Enter the encryption key set on the wireless main unit into the "Network key" filed and the "Confirm network key" fields each correctly.
3. When the connection has been set up, "Connected" will be displayed.
   When "Limited or no connectivity" is displayed instead of "Connected";
   
   ・The network key could be a wrong one.
   Confirm the encryption key set on the wireless main unit, and then try to make the connection.
   ・The client does not get the IP address from the DHCP server.
   Please contact the network administrator to ask if the client gets the IP address from the DHCP server.
