How can I check if UPnP feature is working properly? (Windows XP)

Check if UPnP feature is working with the following procedure.

  1. Double click on [My Network] icon on desktop.
  2. Confirm that [Your Router's name] icon has been created, and then click [View Network Connections] under [Network Task].


    * The above icon might not be shown depending on the configuration of Windows Firewall on Windows XP SP2.
    If it doesn't appear, refer to Check Windows Firewall.
  3. Confirm the icon is displayed as [Internet Gateway].
