Not Prompted for FTP Password

This may happen on Internet Explorer.
Try following procedure.

• Try connecting to the device by going to "ftp://User:Pass@NAS", replacing "User" with the username, "Pass" with the password, and "NAS" with the name or IP address of the TeraStation.
• Internet Explorer will try to login as an anonymous or guest user account first and will normally not prompt for username and password unless it cannot get in otherwise.
• You may also want to try a FTP client program such as FileZilla that will allow you to specify a username and password before connecting.
