A system log is created containing the messages appearing on the LCD.

・Information and Error Code for TeraStation

Check the information and error code output to monitor the product status.

【Output example】

(Example 1) E13(error in array 1)
Feb 1 01:23:45 (NAS name) errormon[(digit)]: Error situation detected! RAID ERROR   E13Array1 Error

(Example 2) E23(hard drive 1 defect)
Feb 1 01:23:45 (NAS name) errormon[(digit)]: Error situation detected! HD1 Error    E23HD1 Is Faulty

"Error" and "Information" are listed in the product manual (LCD message list). The output contains the same as what the LCD messages indicate.

"Information" does not indicate a hardware failure. See the example below.

(Example 3) I15(disk check start)
Feb 1 01:23:45 (NAS name) errormon[(digit)]: Information situation detected! RAID         I15ARRAY1 Scanning

(Example 4) I15 termination(disk check completion)
Feb 1 01:23:45 (NAS name) errormon[(digit)]: Information situation cleared! RAID         I15ARRAY1 Scanning

(Example 5) I51(Failover initialisation start)
Feb 1 01:23:45 (NAS name) errormon[(digit)]: Information situation detected! FailOver     I51Initializing
