How to Configure the FTP client software

To access the TeraStation via FTP, configure your FTP client software with the following settings:

Hostname	IP address of the TeraStation
Username	The TeraStation’s username
Password	The TeraStation’s password
Port	21

Refer to HELP for the FTP client software.
When the TeraStation is participated in a domain network, an FTP connection to the TeraStation using the domain user account fails.
When an FTP server is going to be published over the Internet, it is recommended to set up a firewall with proper security settings. See the router manual.
