The TeraStation firmware is corrupted. Contact Buffalo technical support for assistance.
The following procedure might bring the product into a bootable condition.
As a repeated reboot may cause other failures,
a contact to your Buffalo Customer Service is recommended.

Procedure:
"After the error message "E04" is displayed,
Hold down the power button for 3 seconds, then the power is turned off and the TeraStation shows the error  "E04".
Repeat these steps for several times.
The TeraStation may start with a message including "EM" on the LCD.

In the "EM" mode (Emergency Mode), the shared folders may be accessible after updating the firmware to the latest version.
